As part of the Smart Machine Platform Initiative, the INORAsrs is used to rapidly and accurately assess machine tool positioning, angularity and volumetric errors to provide accurate feedback about a machine's capability at any point within the manufacturing process. Working under the "First Part Correct" philosophy, the ultimate goal is a smart machine which can make appropriate decisions about the manufacturing process in real time.
